It looked like it wasn’t going to happen. We were all shocked when we learned he was leaving the club after the 2010 season. Since the moment he left we prayed, wished, hoped, and even begged he come back to LA. We followed him to Germany to watch him in person and on the computer screen. We continued to support him even though he wasn’t in our colors anymore. Our doors were always open to him, (same goes for you Juninho!) Now Super Edson Buddle is coming back home to the City of Angels. No real words can describe the happiness we all feel that he’s coming back except for the roar when he scores every goal from here on, but we can try this Friday the 3rd as the ACB and many other supporters will greet Buddle at the terminal he will be arriving at. The information is in the picture bellow. Please share this link so we can get a good number fans out to welcome him back. LA Galaxy article.

LA Galaxy v Morelia
Los Angeles Galaxy @ Morelia
Tuesday, September 13, 2011
Estadio Morelos
Kick-off: 5 p.m
ACB Viewing Party: El Pescador
Writer: acosta19

On Tuesday, the LA Galaxy travels south of the border to play in their first away game of this edition of the CCL. The Galaxy is currently in first place of Group A, with six points after two games. In their previous games they defeated Motagua (Honduras) and Alajuelense (Costa Rica), both with a 2-0 score at the Home Depot Center. Morelia, with three points, has had one win and one loss through two games. The loss came against Alajuelense in their first game, while they were able to defeat Motagua 4-0 in the second round.
Both teams are coming off 1-0 wins in their local tournaments. LA defeated Colorado 1-0, maintaining themselves in first place in the Western Conference and the league. Morelia defeated Cruz Azul, also 1-0, with a goal that came in stoppage time. Morelia currently stands in tenth place after seven games, having won three games, tying one, and losing three.
Donovan Ricketts returned and got a clean sheet against Colorado, but goalkeeping is the least of our problems. After a notable performance against the Rapids, does Cardozo see some minutes against the Mexican side? Juninho won’t be available after receiving a red card against Alajuelense. After losses from FC Dallas and Seattle this weekend, LA has more breathing room in the league standings. Next opponent: mighty Vancouver. A win here would make the CCL much easier for LA, and would be a huge boost to the players’ confidence. Having played two games last week and playing two this week, who do we expect to play on Tuesday?
Group A
LA Galaxy 6 pts 4 GF 0 GA
Morelia 3 pts 4 GF 1 GA
Alajuelense 3 pts 1 GF 2 GA
Motagua 0 pts 0 GF 6 GA
Renew your Season Tickets before Oct 8 and get a Discount!
We have received good news from the Galaxy FO. They will start the ST Renewals in a few days and there will be a discount for everybody that renews season tickets before October 8.
If you renew before October 8, they will waive the service fee ($10) and the season tickets will cost $360.
If you renew after Oct 8, tickets will cost $400 plus $10. So you save $50.
You don’t have to pay the entire amount upfront. The LA Galaxy offer a 9 month payment plan with no interest. Pay 20% downpayment and 10% for 8 months after that.
Basically you need to pay $72 by Oct 8 and $36 each month after that.
No More Internet Discounts
We are being told that next year and for the remainder of this year internet discount offers will not be happening. Also Season Ticket Holders add on rate will also be slightly higher than your per game price. In other words, nobody will get a cheaper ticket than Season Ticket Holders, everybody will pay more than you will.
They will start pushing the renewals any day, you have a month to save $72 or more if you have multiple Season tickets.
This is only the pricing, they are still working on the benefits we will get. Stay tuned…
Referral Program
The referral program is back. Get a friend or more to buy season tickets and you get $100 for each person.
Any questions please post in this thread.
Edit: This is only for Renewals. New buyers will pay $400. Don’t let this discourage you if you’re a non-season ticket holder. Become a STH and you will probably get this and many more benefits in 2012.
Welcome Robbie Keane to Los Angeles
The rumors started a week ago and few days later he is here in Los Angeles. Ready to wear the blue white and gold.
Not familiar with Robbie? well he is the current captain of the Irish national team, scored more than 80 goals for Tottenham and just last year scored 12 goals in 16 appearances for Celtic.
Upon arrival at LAX this is what he had to say: “I am fit and hungry and ready to go” “I hope that they will just throw me in the deep end and let me show what I can do.”
See how we welcomed him thanks to this video from LA Galaxy:
Check out some photos:
There was a lot of media at LAX including KTLA, CBS, TMZ, ESPN, etc. Just watch this video by ESPN Deportes where they interview some ACBers.
Robbie Keane practiced with the LA Galaxy today for the first time. He will be able to play tomorrow if coach Bruce Arena decides to.
Make sure you are at the HDC for tomorrow’s game. Look at our sidebar and click on BUY NOW to get your tickets! Wear WHITE and LEARN OUR CHANTS!
