    I'll start:

Jewish Delis are better in NY. (Period, full stop). Buuuuut the closest Jewish Deli I came across that was pretty dope was Benjie's in Santa Ana. Canter's may be "better" but there's never a line to get into Benjie's.

    Or

In Glendale, I do my drinking at Tavern On Brand. Happy Hour is from 12P-7P, and there's by one get one on draft (draught) beer. It's caters to more of the MMA crowd, but if you come with a large enough crew, you can commandeer a TV or two if ya like.
Tavern on Brand! Always drive by it and always wanted to stop in for a drink. Looks like I might have to now.

As for places I love to grub at is Buen Gusto Pupuseria right up the street from me on Glendale Blvd. and Porto's Bakery. Their sandwiches are really amazing!! And seeing as though I am engaged to an Indian woman, India Valley Cafe in the Woodland Hills area is freaking amazing!!

I REMEMBERED ANOTHER PLACE! YOU HAVE TO TRY IT NEXT SATURDAY!
    Redlands: Gourmet Pizza Shoppe
It is implied by the title. They make a great pie. All sorts of combinations and is definitely something to try while you're in the area. (Its right around the corner from the Falconer, which is on Orange) Location: State Street.

    Redlands? Awwwwww.

Hey, downtown peoples. Have any of you tried that "exotic sausage" spot, Wurstkuche?

It was featured on the Travel Channel a couple of years back. Snake sausage is pretty good, Duck is too..

I have been there with my gf and her German class... Being from Germany I was hesitant and not really sure what to make of it.
It's about as German as Arnold. If you're not German and aren't too particular it isn't a bad place to go with friends for a night.

The food is like everything in LA: fusion, so the food is mostly crazy variations of sausage, none of which you would find in Germany (you don't really eat sausage in a restaurant anyway: it's like a hot dog)
The place is pretty cool and kind of has a bar atmosphere and some side areas for bigger parties.

    Long review short:
Is it German food? No. Is it a cool place to go for an evening out: Sure

Have you tried Wirtshaus? The food is okay, but sometimes they have Glühwein on the menu. That's always a treat

The kitchen is a little slow, but 2 for 1 Shock Top eases the pain.
