I think Bruce is resting Becks and Keane for the NY game which I think is a good idea in Keane's case. He has been going all out for most games.

I agree with several above about wanting to see Sarvas tonight. I'd also like to see Stephens get significant playing time, as I'm still not sold on the 2012 vintage of Juninho.

And as far as resting Beckham and Keane tonight against a Western Conference rival, or Saturday against New York, I think several factors combine to make tonight the logical choice:
* chance to avoid travel
* chance to have a full week of rest between games, rather than a short rest period followed by a longer one
* chance to avoid playing on a plastic field
* doesn't antagonize the sizable segment of our home fan base who are Beckham fans first, Galaxy fans second

well, that sucked. bruce decided to throw this game away (the game we had in hand)..against a western conference opponent..

first half was terrible for LA, if it wasn't for Gaudette this would have been embarrassing..second half was a little bit better, but nothing that really stands out..Buddle/Magee coming in and Donovan moving up created a few chances, but that was a lot more than what Cristman/Barrett had going on in the first half. Sucks for Sarvas, a lot of us had been wanting him to get minutes but he didn't have a good game today..him like Gaul have to make the most out of their limited playing time.

Seattle is not that impressive..but neither is the Galaxy at the moment..
