Agreed with Rob and Acosta. I really hope the energy we "saved" tonight will result in a highly motivated and energetic Galaxy on Saturday. One can hope... especially since it will be my first game with the ACB.

At the moment we look to have taken a step backwards from last season and the rest of the league a step forward, its still early days and all a team needs is an injury to 1 or 2 of their better players to make them go from supporters shield challengers to missing the playoffs, but my guesstimate is were gonna have some trials and tribulations along the way, just squeak into the play-offs before we take it all again cos thats how we effin roll. Oh and dont be thinking sarvas is gonna be the one to turn things around cos he aint.

^hahahaha there must've been some akward silence here. Gaudette needs a chant after tonight's performance. He's the reason tee only lost by two. I don't know what I can say about the game that hasn't already been said. Gaul had a good game, especially for it being his first one. Him, gaudette, and aj were our best players out there.

I really think Gaudette did a great job! i felt like out of all the great saves he had last night that headed ball should of been blocked. With the team that went I feel that Bruce should of made all the changes right after half or even started magee. people are saying fire him get him out of here but I will always have trust in Bruce.

Last night's game felt like that US Open Cup games where Bruce didn't really care too much about. Not sure why Bruce decided to throw this game away. Did he really think we were gonna get points playing with reserve players, in that shitty turf away from home? Seattle is in our conference so you would think this type of game would be a must win.

Thanks to Gaudette we didn't lose by much, really bad game last night. When some of our starters came in we played a little better...

I agree with the several comments above that Gaudette had a great game, and if not for his first-half heroics, this easily could have been a 3-0 or 4-0 shellacking. After watching the replays, though, I have to say I think the second goal was kind of, well, soft, as I honestly think a lot of keepers around the world, including several in MLS, make that save. Gaudette was flat-footed, slow to react, and maybe jumped all of six inches off the ground--and he still appears to have only been a few inches away from deflecting that ball over the bar for a corner.

Montero obviously struck the ball very well, with pace, a little dip, and directed right at the corner of the goal. As soon as it left his foot, it was destined to either be the Goal of the Week or the Save of the Week. But as spectacular as it would have looked, I actually think the save would have been somewhat routine for a lot of other keepers. Gaudette is our guy for now, though, and he more than held up his end yesterday; now we just need the ten guys in front of him to do the same.

The defense/midfield should have never given Montero that much time/space on the second goal.

This. You can see Juninho and Gaul (I think) just kind of watching him as he sets up...
