Man U v. Man City
and Man City draws first blood. They've dominated the first half.
*edit* huge win for City. Thought we were going to see a Sir Alex Ferguson v. Mancini fist fight.Last edited by johnnyscoots; 04-30-2012 at 01:04 PM.

People I work with, two older lady teachers who I never figured to be soccer fans were talking about this. What was slightly disappointing was they knew fuck all about MLS and LA Galaxy other than Beckham played for them. One other positive though, some kid was sporting the 2012 jersey today at school. She hates Beckham and hero worships Donovan. She even bitched about Keane taking the pk. She's my new favorite student. Who says the American education system is failing? There's still a few gems out there.
So what was the final score? I just got off work.An exclamation one might say if one were to meet a dragon: "Draco!!!! Strectus, Strectus, Strectus. Mortimus Sum!"
Dragon!!!! Shit, Shit, Shit. I'm going to die!

Not to be an ass but every time Man U loses, I smile. Reason being is because I dislike eurosnobs... some of our fellow ACBers (Flobo and Rick) know my stance on Man U a little better than I let on... I just feel like MOST people that watch them that live here are bandwagonners because they tend to win everything... and if Man U loses they'll flee for the bigger team that's winning more... but I digress... I didn't get a chance to catch the match but big matches like that should be on Saturdays not on Monday... Doesn't matter if its a holiday or not =P
(and totally off topic here... <- my face looks fat in that picture... =/)Last edited by jrichardson25; 05-01-2012 at 08:07 AM. Reason: observatory comment of my face....
Josh, that's me! (apparently... I like being redundant =P)

a bit harsh on local united fans there. for a long time in this country if you wanted to watch high quality soccer there wasn't the variety on tv we have now. we had fox sports world, ppv matches, and the occasional match on espn and your regional sports network. naturally united was one of the teams that got a lot of the scarce coverage, so more coverage = more fans.
the game wasn't all that great as usually happens when there is this much hype, but city were the better team and deserved the win. united was way too conservative and with their aging squad and limited funds the future seems a lil bleak. so all the united haters are gonna get their wish and united are gonna go the way of liverpool pretty soon. gonna have to transfer all that hate over to city as they prepare to welcome some new bandwagoners.
btw if ferguson and mancini got into it i'd take ferguson. i know mancini has the age advantage but he's too much of a pretty boy and looked scared when fergie was coming after him.
