    LA Galaxy vs SJ (5/23)

    LA Galaxy vs SJ Earthquakes
    Wednesday, May 23, 2012
    The Home Depot Center
    Kick-off: 7:30 p.m

Saturday’s loss against Chivas USA was the first the Galaxy suffered in almost five years. More importantly, though, the negative results keep adding up for LA. Standing in last place in the Western conference, the Galaxy is now winless in the last five games, with the team’s last victory being a month ago in Colorado. So far, the Galaxy has been unable to maintain a shutout through eleven games, and the team has now lost more times this season than it did during last year’s Championship campaign through 38 games.

The lack of goal scorers has cost the Galaxy over the past few weeks. Injuries and lack of productivity from some players have not allowed Bruce Arena to find a consistent lineup. LA has recorded one goal through 360 minutes, with the last goal from run-of-play coming 450 minutes ago. Both LA and SJ will be on short rest as they were in action this past Saturday. After Wednesday the Galaxy will have a couple of days to recover before facing Houston. Both teams will be missing key players (Donovan & Keane for LA, Wondolowski for SJ) who have been called up for international duty.

    LA Galaxy:
    11 points, 12 GF, 16 GA
    3-6-2, 9th in Western Conference
    Home Record: 2-3-1
    Away Record: 1-3-1

    SJ Earthquakes:
    24 points, 23 GF, 13 GA
    7-2-3, 2nd in Western Conference
    Home Record: 4-1-2
    Away Record: 3-1-1

    THIS IS LA!

This will be the second time in the span of a month that the Galaxy play three games in eight days, doing so at the start of their current five-game winless streak, which began on April 28. “I’ll be ready. I’ve been ready every game.” -Bruce

“I’m ready,” (Franklin) said after training Monday. “I want to forget about the Chivas loss and worry about our next opponent.”.....He said he isn’t worried about the Galaxy as much as one might think – “We have a good group of guys,” he said – and is convinced they are close to snapping out of their proverbial rut.
    more here..

don't know why they're not worried, just about everyone else is.

First, fuck the northern turd. Second, we win 2-1. Either way I won't be there again so I hate everything at the moment.

Wondering what our line up will look like.
What's the difference between a chimichanga, a chalupa, and a tostada? Call me back asap . . . it's urgent.

Saunders is back in training..I'm guessing he'll be available for tomorrow's game.

Does Meyer replace Lopes? Or is Leonardo healthy enough to go 90 minutes? Barrett/Buddle up top? Magee/Beckham/Juninho/Nakazawa in the midfield?

    @ScottJFrench:
Josh Saunders back in #Galaxy training, not eligible to play. Says drugs, alcohol not involved, was dealing with stress. Still in program.
    There's that answer..

Head towards lot 6 and tell them you have a meeting at school or something, then buy a day pass for $4.
