LA Galaxy @ San Jose (6/30)
LA Galaxy @ San Jose Earthquakes
Saturday, June 30, 2012
Stanford Stadium
Kick-off: 7:00 p.m
Viewing Party: Doughboy’s Pizza

Currently on their longest winning streak of the season, the LA Galaxy will head north on Saturday to visit the San Jose Earthquakes in another edition of the California Clasico. Since returning from the international break, LA has won three consecutive games, a total of nine points. In a week the Galaxy managed to get almost as many points as they had through the first three months of the season.
It seems like pieces to the puzzle are starting to come together for the Galaxy. Josh Saunders’ return has been key to the defending champions’ three consecutive wins (two of those shutouts), but just as important have been performances from players like Mike Magee and Landon Donovan. The two have combined for five of the Galaxy’s six goals in the past couple of games. The sixth goal belongs to Robbie Keane, who returned from international duty and scored his fourth goal of the season (first since March 31st) in LA’s 3-0 win over Vancouver. Donovan and Keane both missed the first meeting between Los Angeles and San Jose at the Home Depot Center in May.
With one of the league’s best offenses, the Earthquakes lead the Western Conference standings and have won their last two games in MLS play. Led by Landon Donovan, the Galaxy will look to stretch their winning streak and continue to move up in the standings. Donovan has been selected player of the week after three goals and two assists in two games last week. David Beckham, the team’s assist leader, is a yellow card away from a one-game suspension after being booked in this past Saturday’s win.
LA Galaxy:
20 points, 22 GF, 23 GA
6-8-2, 5th in Western Conference
Home Record: 4-4-1
Away Record: 2-4-1
San Jose Earthquakes:
33 points, 31 GF, 19 GA
10-3-3, 1st in Western Conference
Home Record: 4-1-2
Away Record: 6-2-1
THIS IS LA!

Keep Donovan and Keane up top and the same 4 in the back and we should win this game. Jimenez has been playing good, and already scored against the shakes, so he should get a start in the middle along with Juninho, Becks, and Magee. SMURF KILLERS!!!
Edit: Oh yeah, FUCK SAN JOSE!!!What's the difference between a chimichanga, a chalupa, and a tostada? Call me back asap . . . it's urgent.

With Becks suspended I think we need LD back in the midfield.
----Keane-Barrett----
LD---Juhni---Sarvas----Magee
Duni--aj---lopez---franklin
-------Saunders-------
Maybe have two goalkeepers on the bench this time....just in case.
oh yeah....and FUCK THE SMURFS!!!“I fell in love with football as I was later to fall in love with women: suddenly, inexplicably, uncritically, giving no thought to the pain or disruption it would bring with it.” -- Nick Hornby, Fever Pitch

Beckham isn't suspended this game, he will be after he receives one more yellow though.

This is prime time for revenge, every time I've watched San Jose they have been vulnerable, just no team has seen out the game against them. The way the galaxy are playing, I feel confident they can see this one out for a W

I don't care if we're winning by five or losing by five or draw! The 200-300+ hardcore going better sing their DAMN HEARTS out on Saturday! That being said, I wanna win just as bad as the rest of yous and the team. I still have a sour taste in my mouth from that mid week debacle.
Oh yea...FUUUUUUUUUCK SJ AND THEIR PUSSY ASS FANS!!!!!!!Last edited by Doughboy; 06-26-2012 at 04:51 PM.

The ultras really liked our thundersticks, so everyone needs to learn this dance by Saturday. Fuck those clowns. If you constantly have to tell the world how hardcore you are, you probably aren't.
