Home grown youth talent is so incredibly important, IMO that's what LA is missing the most. Hopefully this is just the beginning of Villareal's career. If his last name was Beckham his goal would be getting millions of hits on youtube etc. World class strike.
Lopes has to be replaced, he gets beat so incredibly easy and is way too slow on break-aways. Our midfield felt like it was absent, so many lost balls, and so much space given up. The defense is loose and has so many holes and can't cover properly worth a damn.
Saunders stepped up and made some incredibly important saves, even when he had a few mistakes.////////////////////////////// L A | ★ ★ ★ ★ | Galaxy //////////////////////////////

Well..somewat imprecise game on LA's part..might have been the turf?
Like I said, can't wait til we get Omar back. First goal came off a bad turnover from Beckham, but how hard is it to defend? Lopes just doesn't have what it takes, the guy can't stay on his feet/in front of the opponent. He bites for every move the opponents make, if he stayed on his feet and closed up the space Koffie would have been force to do something else.
Being down 2-0 less than 30 mins into the game is not good, but I'm glad the team got at least a point out of this game. Saunders looked indecisive in some plays but came up huge on others. And again, Beckham finds the back of the net. We had been asking for it for some time, but Villareal gets some minutes and look what he's able to do. Give the kid some time and he'll do big things.

Great come back.
Must say, David Lopes is a fucking liability, he has at least one major fuck up per game and I can't recall the last time he didn't get "injured" during a Galaxy match and have to leave the field and wait for the ref to wave him back on leaving us with 10 men for a short while.
In short, he is shit and a big fucking tart to boot.
Fingers crossed that Omar returns in full soon and stays healthy.I have been through many terrible things in my life, some of which may have actually happened.

Signs seem to be pointing to Gonzalez coming back Saturday. If he's fit and good mentally then great, if he's anything less than 80% then let him train more.
An exclamation one might say if one were to meet a dragon: "Draco!!!! Strectus, Strectus, Strectus. Mortimus Sum!"
Dragon!!!! Shit, Shit, Shit. I'm going to die!
