Great game yestrday, English team in Bloomfield is allways Exciting.
Stoke didnt bring over 200 fans, but they were loud sometimes, they were drinking to much pre-game, thats for sure
Maccabi Lost 2-1 to Stoke, Maccabi were playing better, thats for sure, although we didnt score untill the injury time, i guess we were unlucky, but i was proud of our players, competeing in this high phisically level, head to head, without giving up for a second is great.

Tough days lately, Maccabi lost yestrday in the Derby, 3-1 to Hapoel... Maccabi won only 1 game in the last 9 games!.. horrible record.
Also, because of this lose, MAccabi didnt win a derby for almost 4 years in the League.
Also, Maccabi fell to the 7th place in the league!

On Thursday Europa League games...
Maccabi Tel-Aviv will host Besiktas, in a really bad mode, we hope for a revenge, gonna be really hot game, and also inside of the stadium.
a win of Maccabi + win of Stoke over Dinamo Kyiv at home, and Maccabi still has chances to qualify for the next stage.
Hapoel Tel-Aviv, who already lost chances to qualify will play away against Rapid Bucaresti.
Maccabi Haifa will play away at AEK Laranca, win and they promised the qualify 2 weeks before they play against Shalcke 04 in Haifa.

Maccabi Lost to Besiktas 3 - 2 in the 93 minute.. Quaresma their huge star with perfect preformance.
Maccabi came back from 2-0 to 2-2 with GREAT goals.
u can watch the highlights here -

also intresting thing is, Huston Dinamo is after Maccabi Striker Roberto Colautti, and the Midlefielder Gal Alberman..
i hope Gal wont LEave, but Roberto is most likely gonna leave, hes really bad and he gets 3 million $ per year, which is way to much.Last edited by Gate11; 12-02-2011 at 12:42 AM.

"Notorious for their racist chants at soccer matches, hooligan supporters of the Israeli team Beitar Jerusalem flooded a Jerusalem mall this week and beat up several Arab employees, Israeli media reported."

there were big fights there, beitar fans were singing against the arabs and then couple of arabs who worked there started fighting with them... and the end is quite obvious.
it was in their celebrations after they promised another year in the premier league, post-game.
Anywayz, last week all the israeli supporter groups decided to start a protest against the Football Association chairman and the FA it self,

the protest started after serval games the FA decided to make with no crowd. the last Tel-Aviv derby was played with no fans at all, and it was too much.

So almost 2 years after opening this thread, just wanted to update one more time, and probably not last, that Maccabi Tel-Aviv, finally after 10 years won the championship (20th one) after having an amazing season and over 16 points lead over the 2nd place.
last saturday we were celebrating the championship in midlle of the Tel-Aviv with 100,000 (!!!!!!!) fans... huge amount of fans in israel, thats about 2% of the whole population of israel...
