The real deal is they have had support, support, support from the FO from day 1. The FO was their creator. We still have uphill battles with security AND the FO regarding tifo's (security almost didn't let us put up our banners on Monday even!)

It actually has nothing to do with $ or being financially sound due to the number of members. We have Been able to raise funds to put on tifos, create merchandise and put $ into our bus trips be us 20 or 200+

The day we are allowed to support the team without having to plead our case and fight to put on displays hours before they are set to begin is the day ACB will grow into our FULL potential. With improving relations with the FO we are quite close, but we still lack the FULL support we need from our front office to over turn security's policies. They could if the wanted too, they really could. In the interim we do our best with the limitations that are placed on us, and were damned good at it.

I was just gonna say something similar to what Vanessa said. Look at where the ACB has come from since 2007. In three and half/ four short years we have overtaken LARS as THE supporters group of the Galaxy. We have fought the FO on SO much and now they are starting to realize the growing monster that we are. I firmly believe that in the next year or two we will have more options to do so much more. Our council has done a wonderful job at being patient and understanding in dealing with the FO.

Thats you told harry callahan ha ha ......when i said 'display' i was refering to the team performance not our tifo display. Yeah its probably better i'am the otherside of the pond cos from the reports of dealings with the FO I would have been tempted to throw the towel in.

ECS isn't much bigger than us, Fact. They're lucky that they have the rest of the stadium participating in the chanting, besides that they're a bit biger than us. I had to explain to security over and over of how our Tifo was going to work and plead our case for a minute haha. My Johny Cochran skills came into play. FO taking their thumb of us will be the best thing for us.

Its fucking unreal, security's concerns, i can understand them not wanting pyro and banners with bad language or in bad taste, but yeah lets hope the improved relations with security and the FO. continue.

I understood you Eric loud and clear and I agree the level of play in this league is pitiful. Our teams performance is slightly better than shit and we're in first place.What does that say for the rest of the league? Second year philly leads the east more than halfway through the season yeah that makes sense.

Having said that, we must and will keep on keeping on, it's what we do. Vanessa I think your right that we are close with getting the FO on board. We need to remember they are new at this too. From where we were from a relationship standpoint 3 years ago to today is night and day.

I am not sure if my original post was misconstrued, having read it again i apologise if people who painted sewed and did alot of work outside in 100 degrees temps think, that fucking limey should have been out in the heat and he wouldnt be passing what he thought was a small constructive critique, sometimes things are better said face to face.......so john call your attack dog off ha ha, and van you know i will always love you. ha ha

@mike...what i would say is that this present galaxy team offense is inferior to last year and if we dont get another decent striker in the transfer window, i dont think our chances of winning the MLS cup are very good, angel and barratt have had enough games now, they just aint up to it. And yeah the level of play aint very clever but what can you do, when its your team its your team, you just know down the road it will be a lot better.

On the SG back in the start of the league the DC Barra Brava was a fun and exciting to see as it looked like a total party all the time as they had it all, they had something the ECS is far-far away from so that tells us that numbers dont mean sh*t, the level of play will always be low as the kids go across the pond to better their play (and pay) so they are making stars for us insted of us importing superstars out to them. As far as the ACB goes a lot has been accomplish if you ask me in these 3 last years, just look around.

Great thread by the way. I re-watched the match yesterday. I gotta tell you, from the front of our section I thought ACB's performance was miserable. I didn't think we brought the energy that this game deserved. However, listening and watching us during the game on ESPN was a different story. I thought we sounded very FULL and energetic. It's weird how that works. This isn't the first game I watched where I thought we were shit, then rewatch the game and we sound like we're putting our balls to the wall and giving it our all.

As for the tifo, I thought it looked REALLY good, both of them. The only issue I had is that you can't tell the Deathstar shot anything at the Space Needle, you just see the Space Needle crumble for no reason. The card display was fantastic. Looked good, everyone who worked on it is an ACB hero.

As for the team, we sucked. But in all honesty, we've had a fucking terrible run with injuries and cards. I'm not blaming Bruce one bit for holding back. We had a third string keeper, and eventually lost both of our CB's to injuries in this game. Fuck that, I'm holding back and protect my backline. He kept Juninho and Birchall deep in the mid for this reason. As for our strikers, well we knew that was going to be a soft spot for us after about the third game of seeing Angel's stupid fucking "I just missed another opportunity" face. Whatever may be may be. I'm still having fun supporting this club.

One day soon we'll be singing "The Dark Days are over!" And I'm gonna look back at these years with a fond memory.

Sometimes its hard to tell how loud we are when there's sellouts because of all the noise but i thought we did pretty good. I heard a few chants from the Socal Sound, and nothing from LARS haha

Gotcha Eric. This statement came as a bit of a shock. My post was just primal defending by THE ACB MAMA. YOU, Sir Eric, and a handful of other ACB'ers near and dear to my heart are NEVER allowed to use another MLS SG as a greater comparison to ACB especially the green scum. “You should JUST know” haha
