I read the GQ article for an essay I wrote last year on soccer rivalries (awesome assignment, right?). It is the definition of anti-American euro-snobbery. It characterizes American Supporters as wanna be English Firms who only refrain from violence due to a combination of their upper-middle class upbringing and personal cowardliness.

Just watched this video for the first time, i would just say that from the location of the nordecke those columbus fans have gone out of their way to be leaving the ground by those stairs so they were obviously wanting to be in the faces of the toronto fans, and thats how it begins, a few years down the road you have serious punch ups and then the cops move in. Thats the biggest away following in the history of the MLS, shame the team sucks. ha ha

Its not one of the better venues i dont think we could get a lot going to a columbus crew game, i went last year i wouldnt recommend it, better places to go.
