You probably aren't aware but in construction they use a foot but break in down into 100 equal parts. Example if my direction is given to excavate and place a pipe 9.50 feet below an established point. that means 9 ft 6 inches. Cal Trans occansionally uses metric and it fucks everything all up. Their engineers will use it in the office and then convert it in the field and disaster ensues.

It's a sad day to add this to the list of ACB's hot button issues, but it needs to be done.

    Issues:
    1. Politics
    2. Mexico vs US national teams
    3. Whether it's alright to like a player that is traded away from the Galaxy
    4. Supporting foreign clubs
    5. Chad Barrett
    6. Measurements.

    I hope you are happy.

The UK switched to the metric system a while back, people under the age of 20 are usually lost if you talk about yards and feet and inches, nobody says my height is 1.75 metres they say they are 5 foot nine and in weight nobody says they are 80 kilos they would say they are 12 stone eight pounds, you wouldnt order a half kilo steak you would order a 16 ounce steak, basically everything else has switched from the old imperial system to metric.

In ENGLAND we dont put mayonaise on chips we put tomato sauce or salt and vinegar on, mainland europe put mayonaise on everything yuk!! what you call chips we call crisps and what you call french fries we call chips as in fish and chips. And when someone says that girls just had black pudding for breakfast and at lunchtime had spotted dick for dessert thats a totally different meaning in the UK than USA.
