I'm sure most of you know what's happenning by now with the Portland tickets. Here is the post I put up on Facebook:

TICKET UPDATE ON PORTLAND - PLEASE READ
Despite being in talks with Portland Timbers since January, a total of 139 tickets have been allotted to ALL LA Fans traveling to Portland. 100 of which will be given to ACB (Only because they were contacted 3 months ago and in recent weeks about our arrival) Those who RSVP'd on the facebook event wall that there flight was booked and / or were driving will be awarded these 100 tickets. Currently all of these 100 tickets are accounted for. If you still plan on traveling to Portland, please start searching Stub Hub for tickets. Details on how to purchase your game ticket coming soon.

Some side notes to this whole thing.

I have been in contact with the Timbers FO since January regarding our tickets. I only found out yesterday that all of LA fan base was going to be given 139 tickets. 100 for us, 30 for lars and 9 for regular fans. With our numbers at about 90 yesterday afternoon we were forced to send news out about the ticket situation so people would not book flights and be left without tickets.

It turns out the "500 tickets for away fans" ONLY applies to Cascadian teams. Seattle, Portland, Vancouver.... I understand not every away game will draw more then 100 people but this is something that needs to be re-examined by the league.

Brian and I are working with the MLS, we don't know if we will find a resolution to our ticket situation for this game but we are not going down without being heard.

Also, to echo Brians words, this is a Timbers front office issue, not Galaxy FO or MLS.

Fucked up situation the Timbers FO put us in. In any event, BIG thank you Brian and Vanessa for putting up with this headache and making it all work for those of us traveling!!
