    A Newbie Question: flagpoles

I recently picked up a Blue White and Gold flag for myself--standard 3X5-feet dimensions--which I'd like to bring to Saturday night's game. What is the protocol for bringing it into Sec. 121, and any advice re: a flag pole? Would PVC be OK, or perhaps an old broomstick? And is there a recommended length?

In order to bring a flag (with a pole) inside the stadium it must go in with the rest of the flags/drums. Look around for Daniel or Brownie (the drummers), they'll take care of it for you. And I'm thinking it has to be PVC? Make sure you get there early, flags/drums have to go in a couple of hours before kick-off.

Generally PVC. Lowes sells precut 5' lengths that work well, I find that the 1/2" size works well for 3'x5' flags.

I'm trying to bring some extra poles and zip ties into the stadium for people who get there late. So the "official" rules are:

Flags on poles are allowed in sections 121-122 and 137-138 ONLY.

Flags not on poles are allowed anywhere in the stadium.

Flags on poles must go into the stadium 3 hours before kickoff.

Flags not on poles can be walked into the stadium anytime.
